Dickson Hollow, a Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) senior living community in Menomonee Falls, Wis., recently broke ground on a new, freestanding, four-story, 118-apartment independent living expansion. Construction is expected to be complete in the fall of 2025.
The development will feature a club lounge, fitness center and outdoor areas (for games, leisure and grilling). Most apartments will also include patios or balconies and select apartments will feature electric fireplaces and wine bars.
The Dickson Hollow development team, including AG Architecture, 4 Design, LLC, CG Schmidt Construction, Northland Securities and Senior Housing Partners/Presbyterian Homes & Services, looks forward to bringing this project to life for area residents to enjoy. Thoughtful design, creative interiors, expert construction, financing and project management all come together to bring this project to fruition.
“We are excited to offer maintenance-free living, elegant apartment finishes, and fabulous amenities to enhance the active lifestyles of older adults,” says Jenny Weise, Dickson Hollow campus administrator. “For those who are young at heart, we still provide the peace of mind from knowing additional levels of care are available within the Dickson Hollow campus. We believe our new apartments are perfect for those seeking more choices and opportunities to live well.”
“We look forward to working with Presbyterian Homes & Services in creating inviting, sophisticated apartments and common areas at Dickson Hollow where residents can relax, work, gather, exercise or socialize as they desire,” says Chris Schuebel, project manager, AG Architecture. “We are convinced this expansion will enhance residents’ lifestyles while fostering a true sense of community.”
“Though we’ve just started,” notes Jeremy Theis, managing director, CG Schmidt Construction, “we already know that this building will be special. CG Schmidt Construction can’t wait to complete this senior living gem.”
Located in the southeast corner of Menomonee Falls near the intersection of Pilgrim Road and West Lisbon Road, Dickson Hollow offers the ideal balance between urban and suburban living. It is near Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, includes walking trails close to natural grasses and wetlands, and it is close to Menomonee Falls’ downtown district (with its arts and restaurants).
Dickson Hollow looks forward to welcoming new residents to this community. The current campus features 120 senior apartments as well as assisted living and memory care including a large town center with amenities such as a club lounge, community room/chapel, theatre, wellness center, salon and library. This unique property is also home to Living Hope Presbyterian Church.
