October 26, 2023, marked the 5th annual CROSS Awards ceremony for Presbyterian Homes & Services. CROSS is an acronym for our 5 values: Christian Ministry, Ready and Engaged People, Operational Integrity, Service Excellence, and Stewardship.
Because these values are key in our mission “to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults,” we wish to publicly acknowledge the PHS employees who best exemplify them throughout their daily work.
By submitting a nomination form, coworkers, residents, families and volunteers had the opportunity to share why they believed their nominee deserved a CROSS Award. This year, we received a grand total of 1,273 nominations, the most since starting the awards! It’s amazing to see so many PHS employees exemplify our values and the support that they have received from their communities.
