Bailey Windsperger, fitness instructor and physical therapy assistant for Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS), shares her success story in Rasmussen University’s video series, “Stories of Unforgettable Confidence.” The series features Rasmussen alumni like Bailey who graduated in 2021 with an associate degree in physical therapy assistance.

The video includes scenes of Bailey leading a fitness class and assisting residents with therapy exercises at Folkestone in Wayzata, Minn. “My biggest success coming out of Rasmussen was getting the job that I’m in now. I get to take everything I learned at Rasmussen and put it to use every day,” Bailey says in the video. “This is the first job that I’ve ever had that I look forward to going to work on Monday.”

Bailey first joined PHS from 2019-2020, serving as a resident assistant at Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park, Minn. After completing her degree, she returned to PHS in 2021 as fitness instructor/personal trainer and licensed physical therapy assistant.

For several years, PHS and Rasmussen University, located in Bloomington, Minn., have been collaborating to develop study programs that qualify for licensure in a variety of roles in our care settings.

While the video focuses on Bailey’s experience at Rasmussen, she proudly wears her PHS jacket as a subtle mention of the place she is finding success.
