After my husband passed away, I remained in my home. As time passed, I decided I no longer wanted to stay. I went looking for a senior community where I would feel safe, secure, form new friendships and enjoy no responsibility of home ownership. I wanted a community that had a beautiful lobby and seating areas, wide hallways that were well lit, a dining room I could eat at but not required to, activities and day trips to enjoy with friends. I feel like I have found all of these things with the warm welcoming community at Fairway Knoll.

I moved to Fairway Knoll about 6 months ago. From the first day, I felt right at home. The staff is so caring and helpful. When I saw one of their missions is to ‘put a smile’ on the residents’ faces, I knew I was in the right place. If you enjoy a good time, and a helpful and caring staff, this is the place for you. This is truly a caring community for which I am so thankful to be a part of.

Fairway Knoll was one of four senior communities we looked at. After touring all of them, my son (who is a doctor) and I both agreed that this was the best community for me. I highly value his opinion because of his profession, so him being impressed by Fairway Knoll made the decision easy for me. I love the staff and people and a lot of the staff are much younger than us, so it is good and fun to be around them. The staff is always willing to listen and help. I enjoy the fitness center and equipment therein, as it is very important to me to keep fit.

I moved back to Wisconsin from Arizona. Dawn was very helpful in “touring” me virtually through available apartments and even helped me make a final selection while I was still living in Arizona and arranging for the transportation details of my move. I was originally in Independent Living but have now moved on to Assisted Living and I am enjoying that and the community just as much. All the employees here at Fairway Knoll are very helpful and congenial and they seem to really enjoy their jobs very much.
